Itinerary

08:00 AM — Godawari

Arrive at the base, tighten your boots, and jump straight into the climb. The trail plunges into dense forest right away, offering a choice between steady dirt road bends and steep, root-covered shortcut tracks.

08:00 AM — Ascent

Power through the jungle canopy while keeping an eye out for exotic birds and deer. The incline remains relentless as you gain altitude along the ridgeline.

11:30 AM – Phulchowki

Reach the highest peak around Kathmandu. Pay respect at the Phulchowki Mai temple, take in 360-degree views of the Great Himalaya Range, and refuel with a summit lunch.

01:00 PM – Descent

Begin the steep descent back down through the shaded rhododendron forests, using trek poles to cushion your knees on the slick shortcut paths.

03:30 PM – Godawari Botanical Garden

Finish your hike at the peaceful botanical grounds. Celebrate your summit burn with a stroll through the glasshouses and along the cool, shaded streams before heading home.

Please allow 1 hour to reach the trailhead and an additional 2 hour for the return journey to your hotel after the hike from Sundarijal.
