Itinerary

08:00 AM – Suryabinayak

Kick off your adventure at the sacred Suryabinayak Temple. Start with a steady, energizing incline ascending through lush woodlands, following trails that pass army barracks and winding forest tracks.

09:30 AM – Pilot Baba Ashram

Reach the hilltop spiritual haven of Pilot Baba Ashram. Catch your breath while soaking in clear, elevated views of Bhaktapur and the valley below before charging ahead along the ridgeline.

11:00 AM – Ranikot

Arrive at the historical settlement of Ranikot. Navigating the high ridge, take in open, uninterrupted mountain vistas on clear days before embarking on the final push to the summit pass.

12:15 PM – Lakuri Bhanjyang

Hit the highest point of the trek. Reward yourself with a well-earned break for lunch and local snacks while enjoying iconic panoramic views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges across the horizon.

01:30 PM – Descent

Begin the rapid, knees-testing descent through shady pine forests and step-terraced farms towards the valley floor.

02:30 PM – Lamatar

Touch down in the peaceful village of Lamatar. Cool down, celebrate the day's push, and catch local transport back into the city core.

Please allow 1 hour to reach Lamatar, and 1 hour for the return journey to your hotel after the hike from Suryabinayak.
