Itinerary

08:00 AM – Nagarkot Bus Stop

Lace up your boots at the main Nagarkot transport hub (2,150 m). Head downhill along the eastern dirt trail, leaving the main road behind as you enter dense pine canopy. The morning air is crisp, with early light filtering through the trees.

09:15 AM – Kartike Village

Emerge from the forest descent into Kartike, a tranquil agricultural hamlet. The trail levels out into dirt tracks flanking terraced fields of seasonal crops like mustard, millet, and barley. Grab a quick photo of the surrounding valleys before pushing forward.

10:30 AM – Dhanda Gaun Village

Follow the rolling terrain toward Dhanda Gaun, a vibrant local settlement nestled on the hillside. Enjoy views of local daily life against a backdrop of distant snow-capped peaks. Take a brief hydration break here before beginning the upward loop.

12:30 PM – Nagarkot Bus Stop

Begin the final uphill push, climbing back up the forested ridge toward your starting point. Arrive back at the Nagarkot Bus Stop around noon, perfectly timed for a well-earned lunch with mountain views.

Please allow 2 hour to reach Nagarkot, and 2 hour for the return journey to your hotel after the hike from Nagarkot.
