Itinerary

08:00 AM – Nagarkot Hilltop

Begin the trek from Nagarkot's high ridge summit. Soak in early morning views of distant Himalayan peaks before charging onto the trail, starting with a steady descent through cool pine canopy and winding forest paths.

10:30 AM – Nala Village

Emerge from the tree line into the historic Newari valley of Nala. Navigate past traditional brick houses and ancient shrines, following local country tracks through terraced crop fields.

12:30 PM – Banepa

Hit the commercial crossroad settlement of Banepa. Use this vibrant valley town to pause, refuel with local snacks, and prepare for the final upward push toward the eastern rim.

02:00 PM – Dhulikhel

Complete the climb into the hill station of Dhulikhel. Wrap up the trail at the town's famous panoramic viewpoints, celebrating a full day's ridge traverse with broad horizon views over the surrounding hills.

Please allow 1 hour to reach Lamatar, and 1 hour for the return journey to your hotel after the hike from Suryabinayak.
