Itinerary

08:00 AM – Dhulikhel

Kick off the trek at the historic hilltop town of Dhulikhel. Hit the trail climbing past stone steps and pine ridges, taking in early morning views of the snow-capped Himalayas as you forge ahead toward the crest.

11:30 AM – Namobuddha Monastry

Reach the sacred summit of Namobuddha. Spend time exploring the massive Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery complex, learning the legendary tale of the Buddha's ultimate act of compassion, and refueling with a quick lunch while overlooking the valley below.

02:00 PM – Balthali

Charge down the dirt tracks descending from Namobuddha into lush pine groves. Cross the high suspension bridge over the Roshi River to step onto the pristine, secluded agricultural plateau of Balthali village.

03:30 PM – Khopasi

Trek along the riverbanks and countryside trails connecting Balthali to Khopasi. Pass through vibrant orange orchards, terraced farmland, and traditional rural settlements.

04:30 PM – Panauti

Complete the final stretch into the historic town of Panauti. Wrap up the journey exploring its famous Indreshwar Mahadev Temple complex and ancient Newari architecture before boarding return transport.

Please allow 2 hour to reach Dhulikhel, and 2 hour for the return journey to your hotel after the hike from Khopasi.
