Itinerary

08:00 AM – Nagarkot View Tower

Kick off the adventure at the summit of Nagarkot View Tower (2,175m). Take in 360-degree views of the morning sun hitting the Himalayas before starting your steady downhill trek along forested ridge paths.

09:30 AM – Tushal Village

Navigate past pine trees onto open country trails through Tushal Village. Enjoy rolling paths through terraced agricultural fields and rustic farmhouses with broad valley vistas opening up on both sides.

10:45 AM – Telkot Village

Reach the midpoint trail hub of Telkot Village. Refuel with local tea, adjust your gear, and push onward into a lush canopy section leading along the scenic hilltop spine toward Changu ridge.

12:15 AM – Changunarayan Temple

Ascend the final stone steps to the hilltop plaza of Changunarayan Temple. Wrap up the trek exploring fifth-century stone sculptures, intricate Newari woodcarvings, and ancient architecture before heading home.

Please allow 1 hour to reach Lamatar, and 1 hour for the return journey to your hotel after the hike from Suryabinayak.
